Through the careful combination of different wood types and resin, the final result is never fully controlled: as the resin cures, each piece develops a unique surface and character, making every stool truly one-of-a-kind.This process requires trust in the material, embracing the dialogue between intention and chance. The result balances delicacy and strength: the tactile, almost sweet appearance contrasts with its solid weight and presence.

Founded in 2024 by Inna Strokous and Marius Schwald, Studio Bovti explores the dialogue between craftsmanship, material, and narrative.Their work moves between art and design, between sculpture and function — where the object becomes both a tactile experience and a vessel for reflection.At the core of the studio’s practice lies a fascination with contrast and transformation: how materials carry emotion, and how perception can shift through touch, weight, and light.
Every piece emerges from a process of direct engagement — shaping, layering, refining — where intuition and material intelligence define the form.In the ongoing series Cartapesta, natural stone meets papier-mâché: what is usually fragile becomes structure, what is heavy seems to float. The works challenge ideas of balance and permanence, inviting a reconsideration of what endures and what transforms.
